Can you tell me about the training and support system until I get used to the work after joining the company?
For the first 1-2 months after joining, you will acquire the workflow and necessary knowledge through on-the-job training (OJT) by senior employees and training based on manuals. Regular follow-up meetings are also conducted.
How often is Japanese used in your work?
There are many occasions where Japanese is used, such as in interactions with the Japanese parent company's representatives and checking drawings and documents. However, Vietnamese is used for conversations within the company, and there is support from senior employees and Japanese staff for those who are not confident in Japanese.
How often are salary increases and bonuses reviewed?
Salary increases are reviewed once a year based on performance and evaluation. Bonuses are paid once a year.
Are employees enrolled in social insurance?
Yes. All employees are enrolled in social insurance (health insurance, unemployment insurance, etc.) based on Vietnamese laws.
Construction Design Department
What design software is used by the company?
We primarily use JWWCAD. We are also promoting the introduction of AutoCAD depending on the project.
Can I apply even if I have little practical experience in architectural design?
Yes, you can. Our company values enthusiasm and a desire to improve in design. Even if you are a new graduate or have little practical experience, if you have basic design knowledge and can use software CAD, we will provide thorough support as a team. We have an environment where you can gradually improve your practical skills through OJT and guidance from senior employees.
How do projects progress? Can you tell me about team composition and division of responsibilities?
Projects are carried out in teams based on experience and skills. Usually, several design staff are assigned under a team leader, and work is carried out under the leader's guidance. We clearly define roles to ensure that no single designer is overburdened.
What is most important for a design staff member to succeed and grow while working in a Japanese corporate culture?
In Japanese corporate culture, for design professionals to succeed and grow, teamwork and adaptation to company rules and standards are essential. Additionally, effective communication skills, particularly the ability to understand the needs of clients and colleagues, a progressive attitude, and a consciousness for continuous improvement are important.
